Welcome to Clive Rosewarne

We welcome Dr. Clive Roswarne to AHNT, looking forward greatly to what he can bring to the table as the new Capacity and Capability Development Lead. Clive has over 40 years’ experience in community development programs, strategic planning and community driven research, including 28 years working with Aboriginal community-controlled education, health and housing organisations in central Australia.

Clive is a long-term resident of Alice Springs and brings this community commitment and knowledge to AHNT. Immediately prior to being employed with AHNT, Clive worked with Community Housing Central Australia (CHCA) in a range of senior management positions, including as Operations Manager and most recently Special Projects Manager. Clive has worked extensively on the Tangentyere Town Camp Community Housing Model transfer project, both prior to working with CHCA as a Project Officer for the National Affordable Housing Consortium and subsequently working with CHCA.

In addition to having first-hand experience in the delivery of Aboriginal housing operations (across tenancy and housing asset management, and NRSCH compliance), as well as housing policy development, Clive is also an experienced researcher and has recently completed a PhD in Sociology working with Aboriginal fathers in Alice Springs.

These various skill sets will be valuable in establishing the Capacity and Capability Development Lead role at AHNT, developing a resource base to support member organisations, as well as providing additional policy and advocacy capacity within AHNT.
