Olive’s place: reflections on a housing project seven years on

Hannah Hueneke and Alyson Wright wrote this paper in 2004 for the Centre for Appropriate Technology. It is a post-occupancy evaluation of a Central Australian house designed for the arid climate and built with local Indigenous labour. The authors found that the house was very successful and speculate on the reasons it failed to inspire similar projects.
