TOOLS & RESOURCES
A suite of tools and resources were developed as part of this project. They provide an overview of basic, best practice water supply and wastewater system management relevant to systems commonly found in NT Homelands.
They provide a starting point for learning about how the systems work, checks and maintenance recommended to keep them working and support improved water quality, water security and resident and worker health and safety.
These resources include information on: – What Good Looks Like (from source to disposal) – Bore and Bore Water Management – Surface Water Management – Pipes and Storage Management – Rainwater Tank Management – Wastewater Management.
Use the ‘Water SIte Survey and Maintenance Plan’ Template to make sure that the water system from supply to disposal has the best chance of keeping water flowing and minimizing water quality risks, and the ‘Maintenance Plan’ to set out a program of works for the year.
We work with deep respect for country and its rightful owners, ancestors and elders, past and present.
