The Northern Territory Government funded AHNT to consult with the homeland sector and identify opportunities for strengthening the sector.

The Northern Territory (NT) Government Department of Housing, Local Government and Community Development (the department) funded Aboriginal Housing Northern Territory (AHNT) to undertake consultation with the homelands sector and develop this report including recommendations to strengthen the capacity of homelands service providers.

This report presents insights and recommendations from engagement with key stakeholders from October 2024 to April 2025 – comprising homelands service providers, Land Councils, local councils, Territory and Australian Government representatives, and other homelands stakeholders.
